15 Years in M&A

I spent 15 years in the corporate world of mergers and acquisitions. Due diligence, financial modeling, deal structuring—I learned to break down complex problems into manageable pieces. What I didn't know was how much this would help me in tech.

Discovering AI Tools

When I first tried Claude Code, something clicked. Here was a tool that could translate my ideas into working software. No CS degree required. No years of bootcamps. Just clear thinking and persistence—skills I already had.

Building in Public

Now I'm on a new path. I'm helping SMBs build custom software to solve their unique problems. And I'm sharing everything I learn along the way—the wins, the failures, and the lessons.

What I Believe

You don't need to be a developer to build software. AI tools have changed the game. What matters now is clear thinking, problem definition, and persistence.

Small businesses deserve custom solutions. Enterprise software is expensive and bloated. SMBs often settle for tools that don't quite fit. With AI, we can build exactly what's needed.

Learning in public accelerates growth. Writing about what I'm learning forces clarity. Sharing mistakes helps others avoid them. The community makes everyone better.
